My boyfriend took this pic of me shooting when we were in Belize. It made me laugh.

You all know I love to travel so I chose to head to Belize for a personal vacation. I love the Caribbean but I go there a lot for destination weddings so I chose Belize because I had read it was the “jewel of Central America” and because it was completely new country for me. The beautiful beaches and yummy food factored in as well. Belize exceeded expectations, if you are looking for a honeymoon spot I would highly recommend it! Feel free to email me for info about great places to stay and eat. Below are a few shots I took between of sunning myself, eating, and beating my boyfriend at poker.

It figures that the photo of me I like is one of me rolling my eyes and laughing.

Thanks for all the great comments on Amanda and Phil’s wedding! Just to let anyone know who might be trying to reach me I will be out of the country from January 16- January 25. I will still intermittently be checking e-mail and voicemail but my response time may not be as speedy as usual. Check back next week for some shots from the adventure.

I hope the rest of my 2009 wedding season goes as great as my first wedding of the year in Philly! Amanda and Phil were giddy with love (and it shows!) and a joy to photograph. Helping the day go off without a hitch was the amazing Peter at Davio’s where the ceremony and reception were held.. He managed the entire day with ease and professionalism. I appreciated it and I know Amanda and Phil did as well. Amanda and Phil decided, since their ceremony was so late in the afternoon, to do their portraits pre-ceremony. This was a great idea and you’ll see a couple shots below that we still captured Phil’s first glimpse of Amanda- what a sweet moment! Thanks to Amanda, Phil and their families for being so gracious and easy to work with.

I was so delighted when the editors of Destination Weddings and Honeymoons magazine chose to publish photos I’d shot at Ryan and Kristen’s amazing wedding in Negril, Jamaica in late 2007. The issue just came out and will be on newstands until March 30! It’s so exciting to be in three publications just in the month of December! Thank you to the Diane Rice, the photo editor at Destination Weddings and Honeymoons for including me in the Annual Worldwide Guide!
