In addition to traveling to Greece, Nevis, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico for weddings in 2008 I also took some time for personal travel. Anyone who knows me knows that travel is one of my greatest loves. Last year I explored Curacao, Peru, and Egypt. 2009 is promising to be an even more exciting travel year for me! Karin von Voigtlander grew up in the Midwest and developed a love of photography at age 12. Later she attended college at the nationally recognized photography school at the Rochester Institute of Technology in upstate New York. Karin has worked as a freelance and staff photojournalist along with growing her wedding and portrait business since 2002. Her love of travel and photography has led her to specialize in destination weddings taking her to Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Nevis, Mexico, Bermuda, Puerto Rico, Greece, and numerous destinations in the United States. Karin is available for wedding and portrait commissions along with freelance photojournalism and editorial assignments. Karin is based in New York.
