I shot most of my trip photos on film just to change it up. I haven’t shot film in years. However, here’s one shot from my digi-cam from sunset in Mykonos. I’m sad vacation will be ending soon. It’s been a blast!

Just a quick post to let you know I am off to Greece tomorrow! I wlil be checking my e-mail but I may have trouble with phone communication. I will be back in New York August 31. Below is a shot I took in Santorini a few years back. I can’t wait to be back!

The first photo under this paragraph of Jenni smiling is pretty representative of the look on her face for her entire wedding day. She was truly beaming. Jenni and Neil are New Yorkers but traveled to Canandaigua for their wedding. I met with Jenni before the wedding at her family’s home on Canandaigua Lake and was instantly excited for the wedding. The reception was held at their home and it was a photographer’s dream! Neil and Jenni: have a great time in Greece! I had a wondeful time at the wedding. I hope you and your families enjoy the photos!

Karen and Cary’s wedding was chosen for Destination Weddings & Honeymoons Fall edition, which hit newstands last week! The layout looks great. It’s so exciting for me to see my work in print! If you pick up a copy it’s pages 60-61. Karen and Cary’s wedding was held at the scenic Riverside Inn in Pittsfield, Vermont. I’m heading back there in late September.

I had a great visit with 5 year old Jacqueline today. She was quite a good sport, especially considering the 90 degree heat!

I photographed Wes and Eileen’s wedding last weekend at the picturesque Aurora Inn on Cayuga Lake in Upstate New York. So much of my business is from referrals and amazingly Eileen’s mom remembered my photos from a wedding I shot 4 or 5 years back for a family friend. Wes and Eileen’s wedding was so perfect for me- it was intimate, relaxed, beautiful, plus Eileen’s shoes were amazing!! Wes and Eileen: have a great honeymoon in Italy!

I know this has been a long time coming and I appreciate all the gentle jabs and encouragements from friends and clients to get the ball rolling on my new blog. It was been tough going through the later half of 2008 without blogging. But the wait was worth it! It’s fitting that I would be launching the blog now, at the start or 2009, while I’m moving to a new city and giving my logo a makeover. Even though I am moving to New York City I am still available for weddings all over the state, country, and world! 2009 is going to be amazing and I promise to blog all about it! Thanks to Ross and Flosites for his expertise and patience in working with me on this blog.
