Kristen and Loren | Skaneateles, NY Sep 23rd, 2009
weddings | by admin

Kristen and Loren live in LA but traveled to Upstate New York for their wedding. Their reception was held at Anyela’s Winery in Skaneatles and their ceremony was at Holy Rosary in Syracuse. It’s a beautiful time of year for a winery wedding and on our way to the winery we stopped at a barn on the side of the road which made for some amazing photos! Thanks so much to the gentleman who didn’t mind us invading his property. Kristen and Loren were easy to photograph. Their natural chemistry was so apparent. It’s been a great year for me, I’ve been so blessed to have such great couples! Have fun in Greece and the French Riviera Kristen and Loren!

I still don’t have my film back (yes, I said film) from Greece but here are a few more shots from my point and shoot. I love Greece! I’m so glad so many of my couples went there for their honeymoons! I’ve got a huge trip coming up in about six weeks! More details to come soon.

Sau and Shelby | North Salem, NY Sep 18th, 2009

I knew when I shot Sau and Shelby’s enagement session that they were going to be amazing to photograph on their wedding day in Westchester. I had the opportunity to photograph two wedding traditions there were new for me: the Chinese Tea Ceremony and Chinese door games- which were pretty hilarious. The shot of Shelby with the lemon wedge is his mouth should tell you a little about Chinese door games. Basically the groom has to go through a series of feats before he can be deemed worthy to see his bride. There was also a game involving a banana, lol, but I won’t post those ones! I had a great time with Sau and Shelby and I’m really proud of the images from the day. I was so exhausted by the end of the night I caught myself calling Shelby “Sauby” so that will be my new name for them as a couple, lol.

Henry and Vivi | Brighton, NY Sep 17th, 2009
kids | by admin

I photographed Dan and Laura’s wedding early in my wedding photography career. I was visiting Upstate New York and I caught up with them and their beautiful children Henry and Vivian. They are just priceless. And sorry ladies, Henry is already engaged to a lucky girl in his kindergarten class.
