This is part two of Soonali and Hiral’s engagement session. The first shoot we had was back in December because Soonali wanted some photos in the snow. The temperature during our shoot last week was 90 so we managed to shoot during the extremes of New York weather. Hopefully this means we will get a beautiful, moderate day for the wedding in July!

Chirag called me a few weeks back to photograph his proposal to his girlfriend of eight years, Sonali. He proposed at Rutgers, where they went to school, and then planned a great party with family and friends in New Brunswick to surprise her. He’s a great husband in training. I think he did an especially good job with the ring!

Last weekend I photographed newborn Sasha at her Manhattan home.  Unlike most newborns Sasha stayed awake the entire session! She was mesmorized by the camera. Take a look at little at little Sasha below!

Last week I took a quick trip to visit family in Pennsylvania. This photo was taken at the farm where my cousin takes riding lessons. I was obsessed with horses when I was a little girl. It was great to be in the country for a change!

Last weekend and I photographed baby Hallie and her parents in Manhattan! Look at how precious she is.

Kolina and Leo just recently booked me for their wedding later this year and I was so happy when they did! After their engagement session I’m even more excited to work with them in the fall. They are an easy-going, cool couple that are clearly crazy in love.

Jill and Alex were married in early June at St. Patrick’s in Jersey City followed by their reception at the Liberty House, which has the best view of the Manhattan skyline! Jill and Alex are a referral from a referral and have referred me to another bride who I am meeting with this week! I saw so many familiar faces at their wedding as a result. The repeated referrals are the best compliment I could receive! It’s great to keep working with the same group of friends, especially when they are so sweet, genuine, and fun!

Yesterday Sam, Nicole, and I went on a stroll through Soho and the West Village for their engagement shoot. They are super fun as you can see from their photos! I can’t wait for their wedding later this year at The Foundry.

One of my former brides, Nina, is pregnant with her first child! As you can see from the cherry blossoms I shot this photo back in the Spring soon after she found out the good news! Below the belly shot is a photo of her on her wedding day, isn’t she beautiful?
