Whitney and Joe were married at a private villa in St. Martin at the end of April. I was looking forward to their wedding all winter! The view from their villa was breathtaking. It created a dramatic backdrop for their wedding. Their wedding was the ultimate contrast to my last wedding in snowy Vermont! That’s why I love my job so much- every wedding is different. I’m looking forward to all my weddings this year!

It was great to start my season off at one of my favorite venues: Riverside Farm in Pittsfield, Vermont. We’ve seen almost no snow in New York City this winter so it was nice to finally see some in Vermont. I’ve been to Riverside Farm in the Fall and Summer and I can say now that it is truly beautiful in any season! Lucky for me Andrew, Lauren and their entire bridal party was brave enough to trek into the snow for some amazing photos. Here are a selection of photos from their day.

Happy 2012! I’m excited  already for the 2012 wedding season which has me traveling to three countries outside the United States for weddings in addition to several in the New York City area. I have also learned that many of my 2008 and 2009 brides (and even a 2011 bride!!) are expecting little ones so there is much to look forward to this year.
