I think it’s the sweetest thing when my couples send me an invitation to their wedding. Here’s one I just received from Indie and Nevin “inviting” me to their wedding in May. Isn’t it beautiful? It made me smile and think of spring. Thanks guys, I can’t wait for your wedding in May!

Amanda and Phil sent me a great thank you note that I wanted to share. I photographed their beautiful wedding at Davio’s in Philadelphia in January. Thanks Amanda and Phil!
Hi Karin,
Phil and I received the link to the wedding photos and we absolutely love them! Thank you so much for being there to shoot photos of our wedding. The day went by so fast and in such a blur, I’m so happy that we have these photos to look back on that special time. I can not tell you how much we love every single shot. You are so talented! I love the fact that the photos aren’t about fancy tricks or stiff posed shots… they are just solid moments that you were able to beautifully and compose, and capture for us to remember. Phil and I will happily refer you to anyone who might ask.
Thanks again SO much!!! We love the photos and can’t wait to print and frame some for us and our families.
Best, Amanda & Phil

Sara and Robert were married in early February in Fairport, New York. They had the luck of being married on an unseasonably warm day in Upstate New York. So warm that we could even do some outdoor photos at the Webster Pier on Lake Ontario! The reception was held at the beautiful Casa Larga and featured the amazing sweets room! I highly recommend this to any Casa Larga brides. I could have spent all night in there photographing (and sampling) the confections in the sweets room. Sara and Robert: I hope you had an amazing time in Costa Rica!!

I hope the rest of my 2009 wedding season goes as great as my first wedding of the year in Philly! Amanda and Phil were giddy with love (and it shows!) and a joy to photograph. Helping the day go off without a hitch was the amazing Peter at Davio’s where the ceremony and reception were held.. He managed the entire day with ease and professionalism. I appreciated it and I know Amanda and Phil did as well. Amanda and Phil decided, since their ceremony was so late in the afternoon, to do their portraits pre-ceremony. This was a great idea and you’ll see a couple shots below that we still captured Phil’s first glimpse of Amanda- what a sweet moment! Thanks to Amanda, Phil and their families for being so gracious and easy to work with.
