Ryan and Matt were married at the Villanova Chapel in September and their reception was held at the spectacular Greek Revival mansion Andalusia.  Ryan’s flowers were some of the most beautiful I have seen to date. Matt and Ryan’s wedding day was my first time meeting them and I was so lucky to get such a fun and relaxed couple! I really have phenomenal luck in this department. Ryan and Matt love the outdoors so it was fitting that their reception was in such a beautiful natural environment. In the blogpost below there is a photo of them at sunset. After I shot it they told me they always try to watch the sunset together! How sweet is that?

The afternoon after Aiden and Roisin’s wedding on the beautiful island of Malta Jessica Moritz and I shot a day after portrait session with the couple. Day after sessions are great because the couple is so relaxed after the wedding. They are so important for destination weddings because they allow us to take full advantage of the beautiful surroundings! Roisin and Aiden were perfect and up for anything and as you can see the setting was breathtaking.

Earlier this month I had the opportunity to travel to the small island of Malta to guest shoot with the amazing Jessica Moritz. Malta is located near Sicily in the Mediterranean Sea. It was such a great experience combining my love of travel and wedding photography! Roisin and Aiden traveled to Malta from their home in Dublin for their wedding and were pleased with their choice to wed in Malta especially after hearing from friends that it was cold and pouring rain the day of their wedding in Dublin. I have a funny feeling I will be back in Malta sometime soon…

I knew I was going to like Michael and Christine even before I met them when their wedding coordinator, Sarah Pease, told me they had spent the better part of a year traveling the world together. The day was a joy to shoot from start to finish! Michael and Christine were even sweet enough to pose with tourists when I was shooting their portraits at Top of the Rock: see the priceless photo below! Everything came together: great couple, beautiful weather, amazing locations (620 Loft and Garden at Rockefeller Center and The Hudson Theater), wonderful families, and a savvy and energetic wedding coordinator! Thanks so much to Sarah Pease at Brilliant Event Planning for being such an amazing planner. I cannot say enough good things about her and this couple!

Nomi and Dan had a beautiful wedding at the Inn at Longshore in Westport, Connecticut. Nomi knows me through her friend Tamara whose wedding I shot in the Catskills years ago! It was so great catching up with Tom and Tamara at the wedding. Nomi and Dan’s wedding was emotional and sweet. It was clear these two belong together. Nomi’s event design and favors were by her friend Dani of Sweet Dani B event design. Her cookies are so yummy, I know from experience!

I am preparing for a wedding tomorrow in Malta tomorrow but I owe Soonali and Hiral a blogpost from their stunning wedding at Crystal Springs Resort. Soonali and Hiral had a beautiful ceremony and they threw a crazy party after! They really went all out. From start to finish it was a photographer’s dream.

My dearest friend had this little beauty just about a year ago. I was visiting her and her family in Stowe, Vermont last week when I shot these photos.

Marina and Tony will be married next year and will celebrate at Manhattan’s Mandarin Oriental Hotel. I cannot wait for their wedding. Marina starts school in Chicago soon so I caught up with her and Tony before the start of the school season. Marina also introduced me to her puppy, Eloise. You’ll see her featured below.
